This program is a newly developed project that expands the Mapping the Neighborhood Through Art, in which participants sense their neighborhood through all five senses and express it as a free-form map, by adding elements of play.

The program begins with a story about a Joseon-era mapmaker who has accidentally arrived in the present day. To help the mapmaker return to Joseon and introduce their neighborhood, children create a map of the place they live in. Using cards, children depict the sights and sensations of their neighborhood through drawings and words. Through a traditional Yutnori game, they place the cards one by one onto the board, gradually completing a collective map of the neighborhood.

Blending play, art, imagination, and observation, this program invites children to revisit familiar spaces from a new perspective, share their individual perceptions, and collaboratively create a single, shared artwork.
