'Mapping the Neighborhood Through Art' is an arts education program that proposes new perspectives and methods for experiencing the neighborhood. Using maps as a medium, participants express their personal impressions and thoughts about their neighborhood through art.

In the program, participants engage with their surroundings using all five senses, observe the neighborhood from the perspective of animals, and freely imagine and create using the neighborhood as both theme and material. Through this process, they form multifaceted relationships with the neighborhood and gain new insights into its potential by directly and indirectly reinterpreting the space. Ultimately, they come to see the neighborhood as a space for coexistence and begin to develop a renewed urban sensibility.

The project was designed and conducted in collaboration with photographer Im On-ik, and was offered to elementary school students.
