The project began with the wishes of two groups coming together: Simple Sim, a flower studio eager to connect with local residents, and veedl, hoping to reclaim streets dominated by cars and return them to the people.

One Saturday, the inside of Simple Sim’s studio was transformed into a gallery showcasing flower art created by residents, while the street outside became a space for sharing what people love about their neighborhood. Participants each added a single flower to a collaborative floral artwork and wrote down what they’re proud of in their neighborhood on a short survey.

On a street once filled with parked cars, residents paused, reflected, and found time to engage with both flowers and their community.
